Prior to my career as a tattooist I worked for many years in fine dining and hospitality. I also went to college, studied writing, and had a brief stint in art education. In 2005, a very kind art professor basically asked me ‘Um, what are you doing?’ He urged me to create my own art.
Almost fifteen years later, here I am. I started tattooing in 2009. Clean line work, bold color, and smooth shading are the foundations of my style. I am called to work with nature inspired imagery and will never tire of tattooing plants, animals, geometry, insects etc…Everything I do is custom, and I love to help pull together seemingly disparate or loose ideas. I enjoy transforming old tattoos, and challenging coverups.
I live half my life in the western Maine mountains, am an amateur herbalist, and believe deeply in living with a spirit of connection and friendship to this earth. I am a painter and fine artist and am represented by Carver Hill Gallery in Camden, Maine. My husband and I love the woods, and sharing our home with a rabbit.
I LOVE WHAT I DO.
